Stepson Missing, Stepfather Suspected
A heartbreaking situation has unfolded in Kibiku, where a three-year-old boy who went missing has tragically been discovered dead in a river.
His stepfather is now being looked at as a suspect in this devastating incident.
According to Elveza Media, after the boy went missing, there were reports that CCTV footage captured a man walking with his stepson along Maragara Road just moments before they disappeared.
The man found himself surrounded by an angry crowd demanding justice; they were ready to take matters into their own hands over the boy’s disappearance.
Thankfully, the police arrived just in time to pull him out of a dangerous situation, as some in the crowd were eager to lynch him.
It turns out that some people from the neighborhood confronted the man about the CCTV footage.
He claimed that he had received a call from work, and as he was leaving, he told the boy to head back home.
“The man said he told the boy to walk back home and then proceeded to go to work. The young boy has not been seen since that day,” said a member of the public.
It has been claimed that the man previously encouraged his wife, with whom he shares a biological child, to take the missing boy to his father.
A local resident who spoke on the issue warned women to be cautious about being with men who don’t truly care for their children.
