Aunt slashed 2 year old with a slasher to death
Detectives are looking into a tragic incident where a young boy was fatally injured in Nyamusi’s Bokeira village, located in Nyamira County.
This heartbreaking event took place on Friday night, leaving a two-year-old boy with severe head injuries.
According to the police, the boy was attacked by his aunt during a domestic dispute at their home.
When authorities arrived, they found the aunt holding the boy’s injured head with a panga, the weapon she used in the attack. She then dropped the panga and fled the scene, as reported by the police.
Officers examined the area and transported the boy’s body to the mortuary, where it will await an autopsy. The search for the woman continues, according to police updates.
The murder weapon was recovered at the scene and has been secured as evidence.
In another case in Nalondo, Bungoma County, a 31-year-old man named Dennis Buluma was discovered dead on the Ngalasia-Kibochi road, suspected to be a murder.
Police noted that his body showed visible injuries to the head, back, and chest, likely inflicted by a blunt object. The motive behind this murder remains unclear.
His body has also been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
Meanwhile, in the Drive-In area of Nairobi, a 45-year-old woman named Deborah Awinja was found dead in her home after complaining of a toothache.
Her son reported to the police that she had mentioned her tooth pain and went to bed after taking some painkillers, but she didn’t wake up on October 24. He called a nearby doctor, who confirmed her passing.
The police were alerted and subsequently transported the body to the mortuary, where it will remain until an autopsy and other necessary procedures are completed.
In the meantime, authorities in Msambweni, Kwale County, are looking into a case involving a 27-year-old man who was tragically found murdered, with his body left in a corridor of his family home.
This incident took place in the Zigira area on October 24, 2025, according to police reports.
The victim has been identified as Said Omar Mwakitsusi. His body has been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
In Sotik, Bomet County, police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of Ken Bosco, who was killed during an attack on June 22, 2025. Authorities stated that the suspect is set to appear in court on October 27, 2025.
Meanwhile, in Mutuati, Meru County, an 80-year-old man named Miris Kilaa was discovered dead by the roadside, with suspicions of foul play surrounding his death.
