Nyabera was quickly taken to Nakuru Teaching and Referral Hospital, but sadly, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body has since been transferred to Annex Funeral Home for preservation while awaiting an autopsy.

Her body was taken to the mortuary while they wait for an autopsy and further investigations.

Meanwhile, in Runda, Nairobi, a mob managed to recover a pistol and various stolen items during a botched robbery.

A security guard, who was on his way home to the nearby Githogoro informal settlement, was confronted by a lone gunman demanding his valuables and cash.
After the gunman snatched his mobile phone, he fled towards Githogoro as the guard raised the alarm.
A group of boda boda operators in the area quickly joined the chase, which forced the gunman to drop his pistol and three mobile phones before escaping.
The police arrived at the scene and secured the Jericho pistol, which had an empty magazine, along with the three mobile phones
