Missing Woman’s Body Found Under The Bed
A suspect is currently on the run after the body of a woman, who had been reported missing, was discovered under a bed in the Kariba estate of South B, Nairobi.
The victim has been identified as Ann Wangare, who had been missing from her home in Embakasi since December 18, 2025.
According to the police, she was traced to a house that belonged to her ex-husband on December 21.
Authorities forced their way into the house after neighbors reported a disturbing smell coming from the property.
Tragically, the body was found under a bed, with a large stone placed on her head and lying in a pool of blood.
The former husband is also missing, and police have stated that the motive behind the murder remains unclear.
The body has been taken to the mortuary, where an autopsy is pending.
Police have identified a man and asked him to turn himself in for questioning regarding a murder case. The reason behind the murder remains unclear at this time.
In a separate incident, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two individuals in Kogelo, Siaya County.
Authorities allege that the suspect was involved in the killings of Eurelia Akinyi and Esther Akoth during a domestic dispute.
This tragic event took place on December 20, 2025, and the suspect was apprehended two days later, according to police reports.
The arrest followed a tip-off from local residents.
In another case in the Nkareta area of Narok County, a man who had been reported missing was discovered dead, suspected to be a murder victim.
Police stated that Joel Koitikoi was reported missing on December 20, which led to a search in the vicinity.
He was later found deceased in the Naisoya area, near the banks of the Enkare River. His body was covered with dry leaves and showed signs of injury to his left eye, chest, and cheek.
Authorities have moved the body to the mortuary, where it will undergo an autopsy and further investigation.
In Kabodo, Homa Bay County, a tragic incident unfolded when 40-year-old Charles Ojwang was found murdered following a confrontation with a group of individuals.
Ojwang was attending a self-help group meeting when he was attacked, allegedly because he had harmed the children of one of the attackers on December 21, according to police reports.
The incident reportedly took place on December 17 during a night vigil in the area.
Authorities discovered Ojwang’s body with multiple head injuries, and it has since been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
As of Tuesday, the search for the attackers is still ongoing. Unfortunately, such violent incidents have been increasing in local villages amid ongoing investigations.
